People often ask me where I find the information that I have about Disney World and the Disney Parks. Some, at least the Disney World part, is from personal experience, but most is collected from the many online sources dealing with anything and everything you ever wanted to know about Disney, but did not know you should ask. It's amazing what is out there, and many evenings have been spent happily browsing from one site to the next, seeing what each has to offer. Be warned though: if you love Disney, surfing is highly addictive. What's more, there is such an incredible amount of information out there, it can be overwhelming! So, to get you started, here are some of my favorites:

First stop if you are planning any kind of trip has to be disneyworld.com, or disneyparks.com from which you can browse to information about any of the Disney parks around the world. Both sites provide the ability to make reservations, learn about resorts, restaurants, events and activities. You can also order free Vacation Planning DVDs which can be very helpful, especially if you are planning your first trip.

Next, check out the new Walt Disney World Mom's Panel, an online forum made up of 11 moms and actually 1 dad, who have "real world" experience when it comes to Disney vacation planning. Ask your questions, or simply browse through previous answers for what you are looking for. These folks were selected by Disney though, so keep that in mind as you read.

Looking for more unbiased information? Then be sure to visit some of the many online message boards that deal with anything and everything dealing with Disney. Two of the largest are disboards.com and passporter.com. Both provde great forum communities dealing with all aspects of Disney vacation planning, and then some! Plus they both offer large sections with an incredible wealth of information.

The best all-around source for all Disney vacation planning is allears.net, which offers a comprehensive selection for absolutely everything about your vacaction plans. Accurate and unbiased suggestions for accommodations, detailed menues from all Disney restaurants, park ticket information, latest news, you name it, they've got it. This site is definitely "can't live without".

Trying to save money, or just want to plan this expensive vacation prudently? Then you must visit mousesavers.com. Suffice it to say that you will be amazed at the many coupons, discounts, and special offers that are out there, if you only know where to look. Make sure you look!

Just for fun: Laughingplace.com, Screamscape (rumours and fun news about upcoming plans) and if you really can't leave Disney behind, try accessing Disney music through Live65.com, where you can search for "Disney music" and come up with lots of results: two of the best are Sorcerer Radio and Mouse World Radio.
