Scrapbooking the Little Mermaid

As soon as the Disney Film, The Little Mermaid, debuted in 1989, audiences everywhere fell in love with the film's heroine, the mermaid princess, Ariel. Although a typically lovely Disney princess, she in some ways represents a departure from the typical movie fairy tale: she is not perfect. Based on the legend of the Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Anderson, in the Disney movie Ariel is a fun, curious, and rebellious teenager. Of course defying her father gets her into trouble, but in true Disney fashion everything turns out right in the end, and Ariel marries her prince.
