Make Your Own Mickey Mouse Birthday Card!!

The perfect solution to your next birthday party or invitation......

Gather your materials...

1. Cut one 12 x 12 sheet of white cardstock into 3 pieces: One piece 5" x 8" (and then folded into a 4"x5" card); One piece 3 "x3 1/4"; One piece 2 1/8"x2 5/8"

2. Cut a section of Reminisce (RM009) Magic Mix Up Paper measuring 4" wide by 2 to 2.5" high, depending on the pattern section you choose.

3. Cut a piece of red cardstock to 2 1/2"x2 7/8"

4. Cut a piece of black cardstock to 4"x3" Make the card...

5. Lay the white card on your table, folded edge on the left, and glue the black piece of paper to the top of the front of the card.

6. Glue the strip of pattern paper along the bottom edge of the card, overlapping the black sheet a little. Next we will stamp and color Mickey... 7. Place the smallest piece of white paper on your table, smooth side up with the shortest edge along the bottom. Stamp Mickey Mouse Ta-Da Stamp (All Night Media #540F02) in the center of the piece of paper with Black Dye Ink. We used Ancient Page Black Ink Pad.

8. Color his pants red with Tombow Watercolor Marker #835 and his shoes gold with Tombow Watercolor Marker #985 according to the design shown on the rubber stamp wood block. Now we are going to "mat" the stamped image.

9. Glue the stamped paper centered on the red piece of paper so the red forms a mat and frames the stamped sheet.

10. Now do the same with the larger piece of white paper, framing the red paper. Almost done...

11. Glue the matted image on the front of the card, slightly overlapping the bottom strip of patterned paper.

12. Finally, stamp or write a sentiment inside...

Note: You can make up to 10 cards with one sheet of Magic Mix-Up paper, or save the rest for your scrapbook pages! Have FUN!!
